Anquin LLP, doing business as Anquin, operates Strawfy, which uses artificial intelligence to help transform user-provided study material into notes, explanations, and practice. This page explains what that means and where human judgment still matters.
1. When you are using AI
Features labeled “Ask Strawfy,” generated notes, generated explanations, quizzes, and similar outputs use AI. Strawfy identifies the interaction as AI-assisted so users are not led to believe they are speaking with a person.
2. What AI processes
To complete your request, AI systems may process the prompt, selected study source, relevant workspace context, and the output they generate. Only provide content you are authorized to use.
3. Accuracy and limitations
AI can misunderstand handwriting, omit context, invent facts or citations, calculate incorrectly, or produce outdated information. Generated notes can simplify away important nuance.
Compare output with the original source and trusted materials. Do not rely on Strawfy for emergency, medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other professional decisions.
4. Your responsibility
You decide whether and how to use output. Follow academic-integrity rules and verify important work before submitting, sharing, or acting on it. AI assistance does not transfer responsibility to Strawfy.
5. AI service providers
Strawfy may use third-party AI and infrastructure providers to process requests. Relevant handling is described in the Privacy Notice. We select providers and settings appropriate to the service and update disclosures when that setup changes.
6. Prohibited AI uses
Do not use AI features for cheating, impersonation, fraud, malware, harassment, exploitation, rights violations, or any use prohibited by the Acceptable Use Policy.
7. Report a problem
If an output is unsafe, inaccurate, infringing, or inappropriate, send the prompt context and output to support@strawfy.com. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated personal information.
8. Changes
AI providers, models, safeguards, and capabilities may change. Material changes to how personal information is handled will also be reflected in the Privacy Notice.
