Terms of Service

You must be at least 13. If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for you. If you use Strawfy for an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization.

Strawfy is a study tool designed to work with your own notes, PDFs, scans, photographs, and recordings. Depending on availability and plan, it may organize handwritten-style notes, answer questions about study material, and create quizzes, tests, or revision material.

Features may change as the product develops. We will not charge you for a paid feature without showing the price and billing terms first.

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials private, and tell us promptly about unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law says otherwise.

You may not share, sell, or transfer an account. We may require reasonable verification to protect an account or process a rights request.

You retain ownership of study material you upload or create. You give Strawfy a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, process, display, and transform that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the features you request.

You must have the right to upload the content. Do not upload pirated textbooks, confidential records you are not authorized to share, malware, or content that violates another person’s rights.

AI-generated notes, explanations, and practice can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or non-unique. They are study aids, not an authoritative source or professional advice. Check important information against original materials and trusted sources.

You are responsible for following your school, university, examination, or workplace rules on AI assistance and academic integrity. See the AI Policy.

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, do not scrape or bulk-download the service, bypass limits, interfere with security, upload unlawful material, impersonate another person, or use the service to harm others.

Strawfy follows a freemium model. Current prices, included features, billing period, taxes, and any usage limits will be shown before checkout. Free access may have limits and may change.

Paid subscriptions are not currently available on this public site. The billing terms below take effect when Stripe checkout is enabled.

Stripe will process payments. By purchasing a recurring plan, you authorize Stripe and Strawfy to charge the displayed price, taxes, and billing frequency to your selected payment method until you cancel.

Before payment, checkout will clearly show the subscription, total, currency, renewal frequency, and cancellation terms. We may change future prices with advance notice; a change will apply no earlier than your next renewal unless law requires fresh consent.

You may cancel a subscription through the billing settings available with the paid product. Cancellation stops future renewal charges and ordinarily leaves access active until the end of the paid billing period.

Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy and any non-waivable rights where you live.

The service, brand, code, design, and original materials supplied by Strawfy are protected by intellectual-property laws. We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for lawful study.

Feedback may be used without restriction or payment, but we will not publicly identify you without permission.

Strawfy may rely on hosting, AI, payment, and other service providers. Their own terms may apply when you interact directly with them. We are not responsible for third-party websites that we do not control.

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, or product reasons. If a paid feature is materially discontinued during a prepaid period, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or material breaches of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.

You may stop using Strawfy and request account deletion. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, payment obligations already incurred, disclaimers, and limits of liability—continue after termination.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strawfy disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for lost study opportunities, grades, results, or decisions based on generated content. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Where a liability cap is permitted, Strawfy’s aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid Strawfy during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $100 if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Before filing a claim, please contact support@strawfy.com so we can try to resolve it informally. These Terms do not require arbitration and do not prevent you from using a consumer-protection body or court available under mandatory local law.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
